Kayak Trips and Tours
Coastal Explorer – This half-day trip is scheduled daily and is the perfect trip for beginners and advanced paddlers alike. Conducted at a leisurely pace, we usually manage to cover 3 to 5 miles of interesting coastline. We provide all the equipment you’ll need as well as transportation to and from our launch site. Launch sites vary daily depending on wind, weather and tides. A registered Maine Guide will lead your trip and insure that everyone gets the attention necessary for a successful and enjoyable outing.
Cost:
Adults 14 and up: $60 per person
Children 13 and under: $50 per person
10% discount for all persons staying at Dixon’s Campground
Directions:
North on I-95 take Exit 7
South on I-95 take Exit 7 – after York Tolls.
After exiting, follow signs to US Route One. Turn left at traffic light onto Route One. Excursions is located at Dixon’s Campground five miles north on the left.

Advance reservations are required for many of our trips or programs. Please call us or stop by so we can assist you in planning the perfect sea kayaking adventure. Full payment is due at the time of reservation.
Cancellations
Sea kayaking is an all-weather sport and trips are conducted in a variety of conditions, which may include fog, rain or wind. Full refunds will be given in the event of inclement weather at the discretion of the staff. Cancellations must be made 24 hours before the scheduled departure time or are subject to a $25 per person service charge. No shows will be charged the full cost of the trip.
What we provide
We will supply you with all the necessary instruction, paddling and safety equipment needed for an enjoyable and exciting experience. Our equipment is of the highest quality and comfortable for every level kayaker from beginner to expert.
What you should bring
Shorts, shirt and windbreaker – sandals or sneakers (they will get wet) – hat – water – sunglasses – sunscreen and bug repellent – Spirit of Adventure!
